WHAT I STAND FOR

Work to Save the Parish. For me parish life
is where we build community and love. We
also need to build Lay Ministry to support
dwindling stipendiary funds, and because
it is valuable in its own right.
Yet I also agree with the fund to make
amends for slavery. Many members from
my church have heritage from Ghana. I
hope to learn how we resource both of these
priorities.

Priests and Lay Ministers into our Church.

I am retired from my paid work in a
public service trade union.
I am retired from my paid work in a public

I love to lead services and enjoy preaching,
which I do regularly as a Reader (LLM).
I listen to people and show Jesus’ love at
our weekly church cafe.
I care about our area which is deprived and
multicultural.
I spend time with my grandchildren.
I do voluntary work to help people with 12
step recovery.
I go on UK trips in my campervan.
I’m a big reader.
I talk about Jesus with enthusiasm.
Equal Marriage for LGBT+ People.
Most people in my church didn’t
even know this was not allowed. But
I do also support priests signposting
to other vicars if it goes against their
conscience.
