General Synod Election Address 2026
I am a life long committed Christian and have been active in the church for
decades. Now a long standing member of St Martins Witcham PCC, Ely
Deanery Synod and Ely Diocesan Synod.
Living in a small rural community I have witnessed the decline of our
Churches; sadly because of members passing on. Christianity is strongest
in small communities but they lack the numbers and resources of larger
churches. So rural communities are struggling to survive. I want to do what
I can to help our mission and stand up for rural areas.
For generations Christianity has been the backbone of our communities
and helped keep people bound together. We must save our communities. I
want our voices heard!
