Who am I?
I was made deacon at Petertide 2026 and
am currently serving as Assistant Curate
at St Peter in Eastgate and Carlton,
Lincoln. I am 26 years old and was born
and raised in northern Sweden before
moving to England to study theology in
2020 and loving it so much I didn't leave.

I had become a Christian through a
gradual process of conviction in my
later teenage years and was confirmed
in the Church of Sweden in 2016; my
faith has become more and more
important to me since then and I
entered the discernment process in 2021
while at university. I am new to the
Diocese of Lincoln, but have absolutely
loved the first few months here and
would, God willing, be looking to stay in
the Diocese when my title post comes to
an end.

In my spare time, I enjoy riding horses
and keeping up with the latest
technological developments. I am also
very interested in the study of
ecclesiology and Canon Law. I have
recently completed an MA dissertation
on the topic of responding as a church
to the present crisis of public trust.

At General Synod
lam a big believer in resourcing parishes: open churches
and clergy to serve them are essential for mission and
evangelism. To this end, I would advocate for funding and
resources especially to rural parishes and to theological
education. I serve at a church which is an Eco Church, and
am keen to encourage the Church in caring for creation.

Another passion of mine is vocations, especially among
younger people. Having been 21 years old when I entered
discernment, I know first-hand the importance of robust
programmes to encourage and equip people who feel a
call to ministry regardless of age.

As a young adult and a foreigner myself, 1 am passionate
about reaching out to young people and those from
diverse backgrounds, especially when we as a Diocese are
growing more diverse.

1am currently serving in an Evangelical church and
enjoying that very much. My background is High Church
and I have spent time, both on placements and otherwise,
in Anglo-Catholic churches. Before moving to England, I
worshipped with our Porvoo Communion partners in the
Church of Sweden (where this Diocese has an official link
with the Diocese of Harndsand) and I have also, through
friendships and an Ecumenical Placement while at
Cranmer Hall, had significant contact with the Roman
Catholic Church. I am interested in liturgy and especially
the Book of Common Prayer, but also other liturgical
traditions, both Anglican and ecumenical.
