Originally from Hong Kong,
I grew up in the Anglican Church within
a British cultural context before the 1997 handover.
I served as a Youth Worker in the Diocese of Hong Kong
Island for 12 years, followed by 10 years in
a churches’ union organisation, responding to a calling
towards church unity.
I have now served in the Diocese of
Manchester as a Deanery Enabler walking
alongside different churches and schools.
I spent 7 years studying theology part-time.
My particular interests are Spirituality,
Animal Theology, Ecotheology and Contextual
Theology, where faith meets social marginalisation.

Who I am
I know what it is like to be “the other”
As a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world.
As a non-native English speaker in an English-speaking country.
As an introvert in an extroverted Church.
How I will contribute
Listen — Walk alongside different churches, schools and communities. Hear needs that may
be different from our own, especially for voices that are easily overlooked.
Connect — Bring local experience into the national conversation. Connect perspectives that
might otherwise remain separate.
Translate — Help turn unfamiliar voices and ideas into creative and practical possibilities that
others can hear, understand and value.
Act — Ask not only “What do we believe?” but “What will this look like in practice?” Follow
through and ask whether decisions are making a difference in real lives and communities.

What I stand for
VOCATION
Women: Beyond supporting women’s ordination, I value how feminine
perspectives and theology can strengthen parts of the Church that have
been overlooked.
Lay Ministry: Every calling deserves recognition, support and space to flourish.
BELONGING
Sexual Minorities: I want sexual minorities to experience the love of God now,
even while theological conversation continue.
Neurodiversity: Different minds and different ways of participating can strengthen
the Church.
JUSTICE & WELCOME
Survivors: Those experiencing pain that others may not understand — including
survivors of sexual harm and racial harm — deserve justice, dignity, pastoral care
and a place to be heard.
Migration & Welcome: This is not simply a problem to solve. It is a calling to
respond.
There is enough bread.
Inclusion should not be
a competition for a limited share.
Your portion does not become smaller
when you make room for mine.
Though we are many,
we are one body,
because we all
share in one bread.

discipleship.

achieve, but how we live and grow spiritually with creation.

Safety & Flourishing: Safeguard children and young people well without losing
energetic, creative and joyful ministry.
Listening: Let the experience of children, young people and those working
alongside them help shape how safeguarding is lived out.
