When my daughter Sterre was stillborn, I felt
God calling me into ordained ministry in the
middle of that labour — a calling I never
expected and could not have anticipated.
It didn't take away the grief; but it opened
something in me that has shaped everything
since, and I share it because it is where my
vocation began.

I would be so grateful for your first preference vote or highest possible vote,
by the deadline of Tuesday 13 October 2026.
It has been a privilege to accompany Rev Hannah as her vocation
has established and flourished. Hannah is grounded in the rich
contemplative Taizé tradition and shares that with young people in
pilgrimage as well as a profound appreciation of the natural world
and Eucharistic parish life. I am delighted that she has been
appointed as a diocesan eco chaplain, building on her previous
organisational experience establishing a new WI in her local
community. Hannah’s voice would be an asset for Norwich
Diocese, and important for the wider church through General
synod as a younger priest, a parent of four children and someone
whose faith began in ecumenical settings in Europe and is now
fully at home in the Church of England. I warmly endorse Hannah
as a candidate for General Synod.
