About me
I have been part of the Church of England for my whole life, and at St Faith’s Lee-on-the-Solent
since the age of 7. I found my own faith through our youth group KFC (Kids for Christ), and
currently serve in St Faith’s on the PA team, kids team and welcome team. I am co-leader of our
church Young Adults group, which has been running for the 18 months. The group is composed of
both more established Christians and people who have come to faith recently, through the Quiet
Revival.

After A Levels, I decided to go to the Far East with Youth with a Mission. I spent three months in
north Thailand, exploring the Bible and theology, before going on mission to Nepal for a month,
japan for two weeks, and the south of Thailand for another month. In this time, I grew in my faith,
and loved sharing the Good News of Jesus with those I met.

I have attended General Synod in York
twice, in 2025 and 2026 as a guest. During
my 2025 visit I had the privilege of
addressing Synod about the importance of
young people finding faith, and how this

Why I am standing for General Synod
 I want to see young people’s voices heard in Church of England structures
 I am passionate about the future of the Church of England, which has a wonderful
opportunity, as a Christian Presence in Every Community, to share the Good News of Jesus
with my generation.
 I care deeply about the future of the planet (it’s the one God has given us to look after), and
want to encourage the Church of England to support policies which will protect the
environment, and help people effected the most by climate change.
 I want to foster better relationships with other churches – encouraged by the multi-
denominational youth group in which I grew up.
 I am concerned with diocesan finances, and want to work for a better funding settlement
from the Church Commissioners.
 I play an active role in my local Parish Church, and the importance of the CofE in every
community in England cannot be underestimated.

I know I am young, but General Synod needs younger voices –
please don’t count me out.
