Who am I?
•
Hello! Thank you for reading my election statement
•
My name is Eve Bradshaw
•
I am delighted to be 50, a parent to two amazing
teenagers, and part of a fantastic inclusive church
community in Putney
•
Before starting my family I was a Civil Servant in the
Ministry of Justice, and whilst my family was young I
served as a Parent School Governor and PTA Chair
amongst other voluntary activities
What is my faith journey?
•
Having had a Church of England upbringing, I returned to
active faith and was baptized in All Saints’ Putney and
confirmed in 2017
•
The joy of completing the Bishop’s Certificate followed in
2018-19
•
After studying with St Augustine’s Theological College I
was licensed by Bishop Christopher to be a Lay Reader
in the Parish of Putney in 2025
•
I really enjoy sitting on my church DCC, the PCC,
Deanery and Diocesan Synod. I was a member of the
recent Vacancy in See Committee for Southwark and am
the Lay Vocations Champion for Wandsworth Deanery
•
I have just been elected onto the Southwark Diocesan
Council of Trustees
•
AT All Saints’ Putney I am Pastoral Care Co-ordinator
and run a Connect with Craft group and a Study Group

Where do I stand?
•
I believe that God walks alongside us through lif
opportunities and challenges
•
I am signed up to the Inclusive Church
Statement; “We are committed to equality
for everyone, at all levels and roles within
the church, regardless of disability,
economic power, ethnicity, sex, gender
identity, learning disability, mental health,
neurodiversity, or sexuality”.
•
I am proud to worship at and be part of All
Saints’ Church in Putney
What can I contribute to
General Synod?
• It would be an honour to work alongside others
representing Southwark Diocese at a national level
within the Church of England
• I would listen to the concerns and issues raised at
local level in Wandsworth and work hard to raise them
at General Synod
• I am kind, reliable, organized and eager to learn
• I am particularly interested in promoting and
advocating for women in ministry, both lay and clergy,
social justice, mental health initiatives and
environmental and net zero opportunities
